We offer private and semi-private Horsemanship & Riding Instruction for beginner to
intermediate riders, for children (ages 4 and up) as well as adults. Our goal is to help the student
develop a solid foundation in safety, a balanced seat, solid riding skills, horse care, and gentle
horsemanship all while having a safe and fun experience with horses. The benefits usually go
even further to build confidence and self-esteem, improve physical well-being, enhance
decision making and relationship building skills.

The goal is not just to learn how to ride a horse, but to understand how to communicate with the
horse and become a better all around horse person. We stress the importance of understanding
the horse and developing a partnership and bond of trust between the horse and rider.

Our Instructors are CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) and NARHA (North American
Riding for the Handicapped Association). We are very safety oriented and follow the
guidelines of both of these excellent national organizations.

Our lessons are typically one hour, once per week. Half-hour lessons are available for younger
children (ages 4-6) or special circumstances. We provide the horses unless you have your own
trained horse that you wish to bring. We can also accommodate riders with many
disabilities...ask about our therapeutic riding program.

6-Week Sessions or Individual Sessions
Our 6-week sessions meet once per week. This is a great lesson package with
discounts available for sessions paid in advance.

Individual lessons are available on a lesson-by-lesson basis for those that are not able to
commit to a regular weekly time slot or a cannot attend a full 6-week session.

Private or Semi-Private
Our lessons are private...just you, the horse, and the instructor. Or you may choose
semi-private lesson to share the time with 1-2 additional students at a discounted rate. Students
must be able to ride independent and control the horse on their own for semi-private lessons.
